Starship Integrated Flight Test 4

FAA to Oversee Investigation of SpaceX Starship's Third Test Flight

SpaceX Aims for Fourth Integrated Flight Test (IFT-4)

Following the successful third integrated flight test (IFT-3) of SpaceX's Starship prototype in early 2024, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has announced that it will oversee the investigation into the recent incident that occurred during the test.

SpaceX's Fourth Flight Test Approaches

Despite the setback, SpaceX remains on track to conduct its fourth integrated flight test (IFT-4) of the Starship rocket. The launch is tentatively scheduled for late April or early May 2024 and aims to advance the development of the reusable spacecraft.

A Similar Concern Emerges

A notable concern that emerged during IFT-3 was a similar problem that occurred during the second test flight in November 2023. The FAA's investigation will thoroughly examine this issue to ensure the safety and reliability of future Starship missions.
